Solution designed for Texas Instruments' TMS320C6457 DSP
The C6457 evaluation module (EVM) showcases an architecture with two TMS320C6457 digital signal processors (DSP), allowing developers to evaluate the power and performance of this processor. TMS320C64x+ processors, which include TMS320C6457s, are the highest-performance, fixed-point DSP generation of the TMS320C6000 DSP family. They include Serial RapidIO, a high-bandwidth peripheral that dramatically improves system performance and reduces system cost for applications including several DSPs on the same board.
The EVM integrates hardware and software ideal for high-performance telecommunications applications.
